"These were an upgrade form my older set of Chisels. They came in a beautiful box to keep them safe. Sharp out of the box, but did have to do some miner tune-up, like removing the shipping coating that they came covered in (no big deal) and a little lapping on the back. But otherwise I expect they will be with me for years to come. They also feel nice in your hands. Well Balanced."
"We just used them today for the first time. They are very sharp much better than others I have bought in the past. Love them 💕. All I had to do was use my hand. Didn't need a hammer. Be careful they are very sharp. Hope they remain sharp."
"These chisels are great. I started with Japanese chisels and went to these. I love the handle and they really hold an edge well. Highly recommend these"
"I bought them for my husband. He is pleased with the quality and usefulness."
"This is a Christmas gift for my husband. So I will report back after Santa 🎅 has come & gone!"
"Very high quality chisels. Love the feel and how it is built."
"Very nice, well constructed chisels. I have only used them once but the 1/4"" chisel cut the wood very nicely. Thank you."
"Best tools for wood working"
"These chisels were well-sharpened right out of the box (although you might find a touch-up helpful, depending on how persnickety you are). They are excellent for woodworking tasks like paring or chopping mortises. I would consider them too good to use for cruddy jobs, like scraping off old putty or paint -- that's the kind of thing crappy chisels from big-box stores are for!"
"I bought these on sale many years ago and have been using them on and off. I noticed that the edge is brittle and will chip when you're chopping through knots and some figured Hardwoods. It is not my go-to-set of chisels."
