Description
Once mounted, initial setup takes about 5 minutes, after which the grinder is set to go for repeated resharpenings with the same chain. Made to cut teeth of a saw. The time to cut each tooth of a 20" saw with our Quick Feed Chain Sharpener would be about 4 minutes. For replacement sharpening stones see here. These are terrific units that not only do a great job, they will save you real money quickly and a lot of time right away. Full instructions included. A Standard Chainsaw Sharpener is also available.
The 4.5 mm grinding wheel (22mm arbor) comes as standard with both Sharpeners. The 3.2 mm Optional Grinding Wheel (22mm arbor), which is thinner, may work better on the smallest chainsaws. We recommend adding the optional, thinner, 3.2 mm wheel so you're prepared for all your sharpening needs.
The previous generation of chainsaw sharpeners had 10mm arbors. We still sell replacement wheels above. If you're buying a new sharpener, and want the smaller 3.2mm wheel or a replacement one, order the 22mm arbor version.

"I have a firewood business and this was a total game changer for me. I started out using hand file and then switched to a Dremel before purchasing this sharpener. This sharpens faster and more accurately than both of them. The grinding wheel also lasts a very long time unlike the hand files and rotary sharpening bits that wear out quickly. If you are someone like me that would rather spend all day cutting instead of all day sharpening then I highly recommend this chain sharpener."
"Great machine! Speeds up chain sharpening with great accuracy. Service was really great! Easy to talk to and exceptionally fast shipping for a replacement disk that was cracked on arrival. Thanks!!"
"Timely arrival, but haven't used it yet."
"Easy set up and adjustment. The original grind wheel broke after only a few chains, but Garrett Wade covered it with a no charge replacement. Good customer service, satisfied with this product."
"This is the best, the easiest sharpener I've ever used. One comment: why put such a short cord on the motor. A four-five ft cord would have been perfect. Having an extension cord adds to the junk on my work bench. The tutorial with Anthony is a great addition to help setting up the sharpener. Great job!"
"I like my quick fee sharpener a lot. I set it up every few months and sharpen up all of my dull chains in an afternoon (usually around 15 or 20 at a time). It does a very good job, and is easy to set up and use. Beginners should know up front that you still have to file the chain's depth-gage manually, something I was unaware of before I bought this. Not a big deal, perhaps an extra 5 minutes of hand filing per chain, and the sharpener holds the chain steady which does make the hand filing easier. I see the only real downside to this saw sharpener is the cost of replacement wheels. . . not that I have needed them, but I did just order 2 spare wheels at over $15 each PLUS another $12 for shipping. Previous ones came in a bubble-wrap envelope, which probably cost a few bucks shipping. Still, this is a good tool that I like, and saves me time and frustration, and some money because I'm not buying new chains very often."
"Assembly was easy. I mounted it to my work table on the corner of the table to allow for the chain to hang freely regardless of the angle it was positioned. The settings are intuitive and quick. I sharpened 2 chains that were in pretty bad shape from my prior attempts to manually sharpen them with a file. They cleaned up like new in a few minutes for each chain. I went out and cut firewood with one of the chains and it was amazingly sharp. It literally cut like a hot knife through butter. The one thing to be aware of is this sharpener doesn't have a way to grind down the depth gauges. You'll need another method for that if your depth gauges are too high as your chain wears. I should have purchased one of these years ago."
"I like the sharpener but it would be even much better IF I COULD GET THE# 45T01. 14 thinner grind wheel!!!!! The thinner grind wheel IS THE ONE I NEED MOST, now really you sell me a machine that I CAN’T FULLY USE and when I call I am told that you are out of stock and WON’T HAVE THEM TILL THE END OF APRIL, it was between your unit and the unit sold by Oregon chain saw chain manufacture! Their products are no problem getting but I bought your unit and I am waiting and waiting!!!!!!!!!!!"
"The price was reasonable, the device was delivered promptly and works exactly as described. What else could one ask for?"
"Works quickly and efficiently. Easy to adjust for new chains. Excellent product."
